When I went to Chester, Illinois and visited the Spinach Can Collectables and Popeye Museum, I was in heaven (well, heaven would be a Popeye and Groo Museum). And then I found this.
I had this coloring book when I was 4 years old and had it until I was 14. I used to draw the pictures from this coloring book, building my love of drawing and Popeye. This book, and a few Popeye Little Big Books, taught me how to draw. I now have all the books I had as a kid that inspired me to draw.I
This is a blog about myself, my art and my life. It may also include comments about comics, music, tv, movies, or whatever nonsense may come to mind. I must note that I have original art and prints available for sale, and I am also available for hire for commission work. Portraits can be a great gift, be it family, friends, or of someone's favorite singer or actor.

The painting isn't done yet, but here's the work in progress. (REMEMBER: I'm not done with it, so corrections need to be made!)
