I'll be in the Artist Alley at the Great Lakes Comic Convention at Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan February 26 and February 27th, selling our book VIETMIME, doing Mime
sketches, doing caricatures, cartoon and comic book characters, and
enjoying the atmosphere ! Come visit! Our table, which will have a
couple banners: one saying NutBerger Ink and the other saying Nuttall
Art, is right on a corner section!
This is a blog about myself, my art and my life. It may also include comments about comics, music, tv, movies, or whatever nonsense may come to mind. I must note that I have original art and prints available for sale, and I am also available for hire for commission work. Portraits can be a great gift, be it family, friends, or of someone's favorite singer or actor.

MIME COMING!!!
My comic partner Timothy G. Schaiberger and I are planning to be in the Artist Alley of the 2015 Great Lakes Comic Con this coming February to preview our story (created in 2004). For those of you who know us, you know what I'm referring to. I want it to be a bit of a surprise. HOWEVER, we still need to get it printed/published in time for the convention, AND we need to reserve our table ($$). We're trying a different format just to get our story and character out while I work on the comic book format version.
I am offering my services as a cartoonist/caricature artist to raise the funds needed to achieve this long-awaited dream of ours. You can contact me here if you'd like a sketch of your favorite cartoon or comic book character or a caricature drawn.

Still in progress...

After 4 years and alot of work, VIETMIME by Nutberger INK
....still isn't done. It's very frustrating for me because I'm analyzing the plot written by Tim Schaiberger, drawing, inking, lettering and designing the entire book, and I don't have alot of time with a 6year old, a 4year old and a 2 year old running around. AND, since this project isn't currently a money-making project, it takes a backseat to, well, everything else that makes immediate moolah. Our friends at Dark Elf Designs out of Flint, MI are willing to print the book for us, but the deadline is coming up.
Even if I get all the drawing done, I'm not a great inker. And if I can get that done, the whole lettering aspect is beyond my abilities. When I created the sequel to VIETMIME, "M.I.A. : Mime In Action" for my college class, I had a working computer and printer. I had Photoshop and Illustrator. I figured out ways to put fancy words in them thar word and thought bubbles by typing the words, cutting and pasting and spending 2 straight days doing it.
Every time I look at the work I've done on the graphic novel, I get excited and look forward to doing more, but I never get the time to do it. I'm sure there are easier ways to go about what I'm doing, but I don't have ANY money, a working computer, or time. But I have every intention of finishing this thing.
