A mad look at my Sergio homage

 I finished my tribute drawing of legendary cartoonist Sergio Aragones`.  It's an 24" x 18" graphite drawing on paper. I'm happy with it. I've titled it "Mustachioed Maestro At His Craft". 

Coloring the Archies as the FF

I was inspired by the Archie artwork of Fernando Ruiz, a more recent Archie Comics artist, to do a little mashup of Archie's pals and the Fantastic Four (since The Thing is my favorite superhero character). I chose to film the coloring of the drawing. I used watercolor. I tried to speed it up so boredom wouldn't set in for viewers, but my abilities with technology are limited. Let me know what you think!

Drawing Wimpy

Much like the Stan Lee January long tribute, I created a drawing challenge in honor of Popeye's 90th anniversary (1/17/2019) and Olive Oyl's 100th anniversary (12/18/2019)!!!! Each day in January, up to and including January 17th, you draw a suggested Popeye character, post it on social media and tag it with #2019PopeyeChallenge and #Popeye90! It's a way to spread word about the celebration of these LEGENDS!!!! 

I've filmed a few videos of me drawing some of characters. Day 1 was POOPDECK PAPPY!! Enjoy!
