The other day news broke that comic book legend John Romita Sr passed away at the age of 93. He's famously known as the guy who took over The Amazing Spider-Man comic after original artist Steve Ditko left. Romita was integral to shaping the looks and characteristics of Spider-Man and the other characters in the book.
I drew a tribute to Mr. Romita, inspired by the famous panel where Peter Parker gave up Spidey in Amazing Spider-Man #50 . This is the issue:
